Using the mobile app, you draw a custom boundary on a satellite map of your yard. The collar uses GPS to track your dog's location in real time. When your dog approaches the boundary, the collar delivers a sequence of alerts — starting with a tone, then vibration, and finally a static correction if needed — to encourage them to stay within the safe zone.

Yes. the Pro Series 2 offers customizable alert settings. You can adjust the warning tone, vibration intensity, and static correction level through the app. Higher-tier models provide more granular control over alert sequences, allowing you to tailor the experience to your dog's size, temperament, and training progress.

PawTronic collars are built for outdoor life. They are IP67-rated, meaning they are fully protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to one meter for 30 minutes. Your dog can wear the collar in rain, mud, and during normal outdoor activities without worry.

Battery life depends on usage patterns, GPS refresh rate, and alert frequency. The Pro Series 2 lasts up to 36 hours on a single charge. The app provides real-time battery status and low-battery notifications so you always know when it's time to recharge.

PawTronic offers models suited for a range of property sizes. Our standard model covers up to 1/2 acre, the Plus model handles up to 5 acres, and the Pro model supports properties up to 200 acres. Choose the model that best matches your yard size for optimal GPS accuracy and coverage.

GPS technology relies on satellite signals, which are significantly weaker indoors. For reliable boundary detection and training, we recommend using the PawTronic collar outdoors. Indoor use may result in inaccurate location readings and inconsistent alert behavior.

No — no subscription, no monthly fees. The collar pairs to your phone over Bluetooth, so there's no cellular plan behind it. Boundaries, training modes, and activity data are all included, and your fences keep working with your phone off.
